We are here for the long term and continue on our journey, carrying the flag in the area for sustainability, zero waste, luxury service, superior construction execution and working closely with the community. These plans will ensure we can maintain employment for over 250 staff in the area and allow them the longevity of employment to grow and prosper alongside us.
Let’s first briefly talk about the subject that is at the forefront of our minds, the news, and our inboxes – COVID-19. Here’s how we are responding at Selo Group & Selong Selo.

Whilst the Resort itself will be closed for what we hope is only a short period, we do have a number of self-contained villas available for those close by and looking for an extended stay with safety and comfort. Stay safe, centered and balanced in a secure and peaceful part of paradise.
On the ground, we will continue to work closely with our Resort operations team, including our newly appointed Training Manager, to upskill and strive to deliver exceptional services and amazing guest experience.
Furthermore, we are ramping up construction on our remaining villas so we can have a fully completed Resort in time for when our valued guests and owners can visit us again. Completing the remaining villa builds, the direct road to our Beach Club and completion of a few other facilities are being prioritised. Read on for further details in our Construction Update below.

Facilitated connections will aid all of us in staying as healthy as possible during this time. Use video as a way to have conversations with friends, colleagues and friends. Look for communication channels in your local region to stay connected with current news and health alerts. This may be via websites, whatsapp, or facebook to name a few.
Take a walk in nature, on the beach, in the forest, and give gratitude for the beauty nature offers us.
Follow Selo Group on our social media channels, we’d love to connect!
Our Selo team is passionate about sustainability, supporting our Lombok community and our natural environment. Here’s one of the many ways we are helping.
Beach Clean-Up
As part of our sustainability program, we run a weekly initiative each Saturday morning where locals, and local businesses, join in the clean-up of rubbish on Selong Belanak beach. While the focus remains on educating from single plastic use, we are instilling the Selo best practice of sustainability, supporting our Lombok community and our natural environment.
