Selo Group’s sustainability work is delivered through Selo Footprints, the non-profit foundation arm of Selo Group based at Selong Selo Resort in South Lombok.
Selo Footprints focuses on four program areas:
• Education
• Health & well-being
• Environmental stewardship
• Social impact / cultural heritage
Selo Footprints is registered under Yayasan Jejak Selo Indonesia and operates with local residents, schools, NGOs, and community leaders.
Bring essential medical services to remote villages.
Support local artisans and preserve Sasak heritage.
Empower children through language and eco-literacy programs.
Selo Footprints runs climate and land-care initiatives positioned as local, practical solutions that also strengthen rural livelihoods. Environmental work includes regenerative land management supporting rural farmers to adopt practices that nurture soil and restore balance.
Community initiatives include beach clean-ups with the Selong Belanak Community Association (SBCA) and school clean-ups that teach responsibility through action. Responsible tourism is used to generate income, build awareness, and connect visitors with conservation education.
